Patron's Reviews

Just wanted to give you some feedback on some movies you guys have playing. We take turns picking movies every week, that's why our selections might seem so diverse.

Jumper: quite an enjoyable movie! not too long, lots of action and special effects. Definitely leaves way to a sequel, which we'd be happy to see.

Fool's Gold: Romantic comedy that Nick did not mind watching, especially after I just made him watch Atonement. Some great scenery in this movie which reminds us of the islands we love so much. We weren't too excited that Matthew and Kate were starring in yet another romantic comedy together, but we were pleasantly surprised with their on screen chemistry.

Michael Clayton: We really had no idea what was going on for most of this movie. Does anyone get what his job really is? Can you explain it to us? We thought the movie was suspenseful, but does the academy really need to nominate this as best picture?

Next week is Gina's pick: scheduled to be Definitely Maybe.

P.S.- Nick says in no way whatsover should anybody ever have to watch Atonement! EVER!

See you next week, Nick & Gina

Best Bets News
It's PJ's belief that movie reviews are entirely subjective and often inconsistent with the opinion of the movie-going public. Thus, we have added the "Best Bets" section to PJCinemas.com. This section briefly evaluates the movies based upon viewer response. Hey, folks, don't listen to the critics. Listen to the people! We have been advising patrons at the box office for years and with excellent results. People often ask, "Did you see it?" When we say, "No," they doubt our selections. However, our choices are not contaminated by our own, often misguided opinions. Our advice is based upon the views of people, people such as YOU! No subjectivity here, instead only the views of other movie goers.
